Before Chill Battery Protection takes effect, your vehicle undergoes an Akkuauto battery inspection. For Model 3 and Model Y, the remote inspection is included when a protection agreement is signed; otherwise, or in case of cancellation, the inspection costs 229 €. For Model S and Model X, inspections are carried out on-site at selected locations. A replacement vehicle is available if needed.
